My cultural environment in the medical world is a nice melting pot and collaboration between the many cultures I have come across in my time. In medicine there a very personal side, I think a lot of doctors lack, where you have to be more universally educated in the many cultures you come across and knowhow to communicate and deliver many treatment options. For the time I have been a part of this community, I have taken and learned from the many experiences I have had and would be honored to consider myself a part of this community, but I still think I have much more to learn. My experience has shaped me to understand people and the community with a deeper understanding from a more empathetic standpoint. I am learning more and more about the patients I come across daily and their different backgrounds and being able to further give proper individualized care that goes much further than just medicine.
