Introducing Myself

Hello! My name is Gwynne English and I am a second year International Affairs and Spanish double major from Clearwater, Florida. This summer I will be exploring my interest in emergency management through a community outreach emergency management internship with Pinellas County Emergency Management Services. Specifically I want to look into and improve the accessibility of emergency resources for the communities that need them the most. Through this summer I hope to learn more about my community and gain some practical life experiences. I also want to become more aware and connected with the community I live in. As of the start of the experience, I am not sure exactly how I will be helpful in regards to what I will be able to do in a respectful way to create change, but it is something I hope to gain through this experience.
