My name is Julia Earnest and I am a second-year student from Jupiter, Florida. I am majoring in Exercise Physiology and I hope to attend medical school and eventually become a surgeon. Over the summer, I will be attending EMT school. This will allow me to further explore skills and interactions that are related to having a career in medicine. I expect to learn more about emergency medicine and become familiar with patient encounters. I am slightly nervous about how I can quickly adapt to this rigorous program, but I believe I can do well.
