This is my introduction and I am so excited to blog my journey this summer! My name is Kenson Moore and I am from Eustis, Florida. I earned my AA in high school at Lake Sumter State College and this is my second year at Florida State. I am a psychology major with a sociology minor. This summer I will work at Camp Boggy Creek – a camp for children with terminal illnesses.
I will be exploring how staff members working with vulnerable populations practice self-care, and measuring how happy the children are before and after they complete certain activities throughout the day. I have experience working in this environment before, and I am super excited to meet new people and spend my summer with these amazing campers!
