I am Arath, a biology and public health dual major with minors in psychology and chemistry. I am from Fort Lauderdale!
Over the summer, I will be doing cacao Fermentation research in Costa Rica that is focused on the process of cacao and the metabolism of the process.
The expectations I have for my experience is to learn and gain experience of doing research within biology. Additionally, I plan on doing some cultural experiences while I am there with the other students.
Other than where we would be lodging and a few technical items, I am aware of what I will be doing and extremely excited for the opportunity.
