Solidarity Within My Community

Solidarity within the community I am volunteering in revolves around the common sport of Tae Kwon Doe. I am currently volunteering at tribe martial arts, where people from all over Vero Beach come to practice this sport and learn more about the fascinating world of Tae Kwon Doe. Everyone’s shared interest in this dojo is based on practicing and retaining enough information to be eligible to test for their next belt, which gets them closer to their big goal of becoming a black belt. Communal issues that become apparent within tribe martial arts are the problems that students are not ready to test even though they have put in the hours of practice but are not up to the level they should be to be prepared for testing. Every student works at their own pace, so it varies by person and how much they practice while retaining the information we provide.
