My time at Domi Station has been remarkable with a few things having surprised me. The first being how much information they have on entrepreneurship. They’ve broken down every aspect of what a entrepreneur is and created discussions that elaborate more upon the topic. Every lesson challenges you to think outside the box to figure out your “WHY”. Your “WHY” is extremely important to any startup company who wants to make a mark in their industry. Knowing “WHY” you are doing what you are doing will make it a lot easier to sell a product/service.
Information, Communication, and Technology major
The second thing that has surprised me is how friendly everyone has been. Sometimes I just walk around to speak with different coworkers. Speaking with a entrepreneur can be extremely beneficial. I always walk away knowing that I’ve learned something new, which also leads me down a path of creating a strong network I can rely on.
Lastly, what has surprised me the most was how much dedication everyone has. I see the same Domi members everyday from 9am – 5pm. Some stay over night and others get that early bird start. One thing they all have in common is that dedication to have a successful startup. Just being able to be around this type of people can inspire you to do more extraordinary things.
