Introducing Myself

I am Jaylin Green a third-year Jazz studies and Environmental Science & Policy major. Over the summer I will be volunteering with an NGO in the Philippines to participate in a volunteer-based scientific diving program to collect data on MPA’s effectiveness and resilience and offer data support to local and regional management units. Some of my expectations are having to get out of my comfort zone learning new skills and being out of touch with friends and family. What Im not sure of so far is how my diet and lifestyle will influence my experience in the region. I am used to the vegan options I have in the grocery stores I am not sure what to expect once going overseas.
