I wake up around 6:00AM and get ready to go to work- I work as a summer camp counselor. I take a shower, put my uniform on, and eat breakfast either in my house or in my car on the way to work. Once I clock in, I start my day off by playing gamesContinue reading “A Day in my Life!”

Resonating Stories
Due to my interest in international affairs, I’m usually pretty caught up on recent news stories through podcasts, articles, and news organizations in social media. The developing news on Maui’s wildfires is something that has resonated with me recently as I’m currently enrolled in FSU’s Emergency Management and Homeland Security certificate. Reflecting…
Although my goals and interests from the beginning of this experience have change, my feelings towards them have not. I started this experience with the intention of learning from other peoples perspectives and experiences. I have been able to fulfill that goal and I want to share the knowledge I’ve gained in my capstone duringContinue reading “Reflecting…”

Adios a Costa Rica
This experience as a whole was a very complicated and messy situation. However even with all the ups and downs I thoroughly enjoyed it and would do it again in a heartbeat if given the choice, though a more streamlined process would have been nice. The capstone for the summer experience has been shifted entirely,Continue reading “Adios a Costa Rica”
A Completed Summer Experience
I have officially finished all the summer experiences this past week! The last experience I had was completing my CMA (Clinical Medical Assistant) course and receive my certification. The week of the course was a lot of work, but it was so interesting and I had so much fun! I was able to learn soContinue reading “A Completed Summer Experience”
