My summer has been incredibly fulfilling, educational, and enlightening. I had the opportunity to engage with different populations in my community, receive valuable training for my future career, and shadow various healthcare professionals, including a Pediatric Pulmonologist and multiple Pediatric and Neo-natal Nurse Practitioners in Atlanta. Blog #7 – My Spheres
Before I started my experience my usual spheres included home, work, the beach, and nannying. I have added my CNA training site, Children Healthcare of Atlanta Scottish Rite Hospital, and BEAM to my list of spheres visited throughout my experience. Community
Engaging in positive experiences, such as volunteering and actively participating in community events, has deeply enriched my sense of belonging and connection to the community. Through these experiences, I have developed a profound appreciation for the collective efforts of my community in caring for one another and our environment. Families visit the pantry and select items that align with their dietary needsContinue reading “Structural Inequalities”
