Hello everyone,
I am halfway through my experience, and it’s a bit sad because I love working with the kids. This week we had a theme of nature and had multiple outlets to allow the students to tap into nature and explore. We had a mini animal farm, and the students got to let the animals. I was able to help them ease into the mini farm and have fun with the animals. Also, this week the kids started gardening and taking nature walks to help them take on a bit more responsibility. They are doing a great job regularly keeping up with their schedule and maintaining the plants. I am super glad to see them know what we are doing in the day because it means not only are they engaged but understand life balance.
