Farewell to my experience!

Now that my time in Valencia is coming to an end, I can start to look back and say that this summer experience has been one of the highlights of my life. I met so many interesting people, traveled to many places, and got to learn about cultures I never would have experienced had I just stayed in the United States. I went from being a much more reserved individual, to now where I feel like I can do just about anything. I’m worried that returning back to Tallahassee after this experience is going to be miserable lol. The time I spent doing individual research has opened my eyes to how other European cities operate. They seem to prioritize better methods of transportation, as well as prioritize the health of their citizens. I have new ideas on what green cities can look like, and it is something I find very impressive and important.

After holding a meeting, I believe that my CapStone project is coming along well for the most part. The research I have done has allowed me to take the specifics of my Capstone a variety of ways, which is a good thing since I have not quite yet decided how I would like to complete it. I do feel as though I need some guidance when it comes to how I am going to direct it. I look forward to coming back and getting to work this fall!
