Day in the Life: TEFL and Summer Classes

My routine for a TEFL class day is packed with tutoring, lectures, and assignment completion. On top of everything I must go for TEFL, I also must balance my other classes and their assignments as well. My average class day starts with waking up early to complete my morning routine and to get ready for the day. Then I go to the library early to complete a bit of class work for the credits I’m taking outside of TEFL. After a bit of time in the library I go to a private study room to do online tutoring with my tutee from South Korea, Do Jun. Tutoring lasts an hour and then I blog about the session for a succeeding thirty minutes. Next, I must go to lecture for my other credit hours which lasts until about 2:30 p.m. After my calculus class lets out, I walk to the Hecht house where I have a class with my TEFL Professor, Professor Kim, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Class is only twice a week, but on the days I don’t have class I spend the time completing an assignment for my other classes and studying hard. My schedule is packed, but through proper planning, I’ve been able to complete all my work thus far. I’ve found that pushing through and taking the extra step goes a long way and reduces a lot of the stress I usually feel from a packed schedule.
