Bowling championship

Hey everyone,
I am two weeks in as a counseling aide for children with disabilities, and I love it! Today, we took the kids bowling to allow them to be more comfortable with participating in a group setting. As I was helping the kids bowl, I learned so much about them. Many kids love to be independent and do things their selves, and we must be willing to help them through it just as much as they want us to. If we try to help unnecessarily, it may trigger a student and hinder their growth. For example, the child I had today won first place in bowling with minimal amounts of help from me. Also, I began my countdown for Belize I will be arriving in three weeks.
