I think that one of the biggest stories that I have heard has been about the political climate in America. With the next election coming up, and candidates dropping out of the race, politics have been at the center of everyone’s minds. However, another country has a lot of political strife. Nigeria is going through a lot of conflict with its ethnic groups, prompting the Igbo people to attempt to make their own country. I think stories such as these should be discussed more in the West.
I don’t have a huge update on my capstone as I’ve been thinking about the same thing throughout the summer. I have submitted my draft and am now working on the peer review.
