My current routine is somewhat unique compared to other students in my program. While most of my peers start their day early, my schedule allows for a different approach that balances my academic, personal, and professional responsibilities effectively.
Morning
- 10:00 AM: I start my day by waking up and checking my phone for any important emails or text messages from the program I am a part of. This helps me stay updated with any immediate tasks or communications.
- 10:30 AM: I get on my laptop to complete any assignments I have for the week or the day. I make sure to get them done promptly to keep up with my coursework.
Midday
- 12:00 PM: After finishing my assignments, I take a break and head to the nearest futsal place in the city to play football. This usually takes about an hour and provides a great way to exercise and clear my mind.
- 1:30 PM: I return to my apartment, shower, and get ready for the rest of my day.
Afternoon and Evening
- 4:00 PM: I start walking towards the bus stop and travel for about half an hour to my internship.
- 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM: I spend the evening interning at a physical therapy clinic. This hands-on experience is crucial for my learning and development in the field.
- 10:00 PM: After my internship, I return home, have dinner, and relax by catching up on personal projects or leisure activities.
Friday and Weekend
- Fridays and Weekends: These days are reserved for me. I take the opportunity to travel to nearby cities or other countries, exploring new places and cultures. This not only provides a break from my routine but also enriches my life with new experiences and perspectives.
A Special Sunday Experience But for this time around on Sunday, we had something planned. A friend of ours from our little separate group within the program I was a part of interned at the Villarreal FC stadium, which is a very well-known football club that plays in the first division of the Spanish league (La Liga). Through her internship, she got me and five others, including herself, tickets to the game. It was an amazing experience—the atmosphere and the love of football in Europe is 100 times better than in the U.S.
