My Map

Due to the fact that my internship with Uganda Development and Health Associates is virtual, my map of the spaces that I inhabit on a daily or weekly basis differs from many. Since the work that I do is completed via my computer, I can work from pretty much anywhere (Wi-Fi permitting)! If I were to make a map including these spaces, it would include a lot of coffee shops, my house, and even the passenger seat of my car during a week-long road trip. Being able to connect with my team of interns anytime and anywhere allows me to have flexibility with my map. My map is not limited to a city or region; rather, it can be virtually anywhere.

The most interesting thing about my map, in my opinion, is that although it is limited to my computer, the results from my work are seen on another map halfway across the world in Uganda. I believe that the diversity of this map is intriguing as it demonstrates that with the power of technology, we are able to make beneficial impacts from no matter how far away.
