Hello Everyone!
As the summer is winding down, it’s almost time to say goodbye to Orlando and Second Harvest. I’ll be honest when I say I still am intended to volunteer 7 more days in order to hit 50 hours volunteering with the bank, right now I’m at 30 and kind of want to increase that. It’s been more difficult since I’ve gotten a part-time job.
I gave them my availability but ironically enough it was denied and I get scheduled everyday there is an opportunity to volunteer at Second Harvest, and I’ll be honest, even if there is a free day during the weekday I’m not scheduled sometimes I’m too exhausted to go. I still have August so I’m hoping I’ll be able to pull through. 🙂
I’ve had a nice productive summer and i’m happy with all that I’ve done! My capstone is coming along nicely, I have a good idea on what i’m going to focus on and everyone at the bank has been very helpful.
