Mirupafshim, pozdrav, sbohem!
My summer experience with FSUIP has been nothing short of exciting and life-changing! Although I am sad to see the summer end, I look forward to returning home to my friends & family. The 12 weeks I have spent in Eastern Europe have taught me many professional and personal lessons for which I am grateful. The topics of the programs could burn an individual out and possibly provide me with a pessimistic view of the world, I have chosen to find the beauty in the situation.
The Capstone Project is being developed and I am brainstorming ideas as the program continues. The final excursion for the Prague Program takes place next weekend, thus I will have better footing next week. I am excited to see the fruition of my efforts and summer learning. Something that has been going well with my project is the collection of hard evidence from different excursions of the programs. Something that is difficult is differentiating between memorials and tourism. What constitutes war tourism?
