A Day in Cusco

One of my favorite things about my experience in Cusco is the flexibility. Ever since I got here, I have been able to experience multiple different programs. My last week I was able to contribute to an Alpaca farm which was an amazing experience. One of my favorite animals there was the baby Vicuña pictured above named Pepe.

Although not a big city, Cusco is packed with projects and other things to do. This is why it is rare for me to be seen in the same place two days in a row. There was a week when I contemplated participating in a project in the Peruvian Amazonia but sadly I was not able to because it would have interfered with my online classes.

Overall, my life became way more dynamic in Peru. It was a fun adjustment and has been a great experience. It is a lot different from my life before my experience because I always stuck to my schedule and what I knew.
