Routine? Don’t Know Her.

Hey guys! Something very unique about my summer is that I am never in one place for very long. Every week I am somewhere new, thus it is difficult to give a current “map” of the places I inhabit. Yesterday I got back from Krakow, Poland and on Wednesday I will be heading to Nuremberg and Bad Schendau, Germany with my class. Although I am based in Prague, Czech Republic for the month, we are traveling every week somewhere new for several days.

Before this summer experience, I lived and stayed for several weeks in Tallahassee. The only time I leave the city is for holidays or weekend trips home. Tallahassee life includes FSU classes, surrounding myself with my friends, and working at the Florida Senate. I have a routine in Tallahassee that I enjoy sticking to, something that is vastly different than my experience this summer. I am trying to resemble a routine, but with moving around a lot, it has been difficult. Being so “on the go” this summer is draining but has developed several professional and personal skills that I find important. Life in Prague looks different every day as well, I am always finding new restaurants and cafes to do work in, experiencing a new cultural event, and chatting with new friends. The places I frequent the most are my apartment and the classroom next door. Both are not overly exciting, but the city of Prague is!
