A day in the life at camp is a day filled with safety, respect, and love. My job role is a lot different than a traditional camp counselor in that I get to work with the camp directors as well as with the campers. Each week I oversee sections of camper arrival day and manage our retail store. Both of these allow me to meet and interact with campers and their families. Aside from that, I eat breakfast and lunch with a different cabin every day!
My favorite day of each session is camper arrival day. Seeing the excited faces of campers and camper families fills my heart with joy. I have also made so many friends at camp as you can see pictured here. Getting to work with them throughout the session makes me feel like the luckiest person and so excited to potentially return back next summer!
