Navigating My Journey: A Smooth Transition to Houston

My transition to Houston has been remarkably smooth. Thoughtful planning for my days ahead has made my move effortless. My housing in Houston is located near downtown, in the historic Third Ward neighborhood. This area is filled with many businesses and an entrepreneurial spirit.

I can walk to my internship in just ten minutes, and there’s a gym only a 30-second walk away from my apartment. My living space is well-equipped with a kitchen, washer and dryer, a TV for entertainment, and enough groceries to last the next month. It is such a blessing to be able to partake in this opportunity.

Between my internship, research, and personal life, my schedule has been busy but wonderful. I am able to work on important projects that contribute to the world. The hardest part of this process is maintaining consistency and focusing on the end goal. I’m used to juggling different classes and organizations during the semester, but this summer, I have only one focus. I believe I can achieve my goal of understanding people like me with a financial and entrepreneurial spirit.
