Hey everyone! I am Nadia Soifer! I am from Atlanta, Georgia, and my major is international affairs, though I am undecided in between a pre-law or pre-medical track!
This summer, I am going to be working at a camp back home in Atlanta, called High Meadows Camp! There, I will be a camp counselor, teaching children about Native American history, art, animal care, and more. My goal is to use my time at the summer camp, alongside the help of other counselors, to create a research project surrounding the effects of summer camp on childhood development and wellbeing!
I am super excited about my experience, and expect to have a great summer! I cannot wait to further develop my research project by talking to fellow staffers who themselves went to the camp year after year, to see how it has impacted their lives.
I am somewhat unsure of how I am going to go about doing my research, but nonetheless am excited for my experience!
