Allow me to introduce myself—I am Gladine Lamarre, a dedicated advocate for justice and a third-year student at Florida State University. Currently pursuing a dual degree in Political Science and Criminology, my academic journey has instilled in me a deep-seated desire to comprehend the complexities of our legal framework.
This summer, I am honored to undertake a project of paramount importance: a comprehensive study titled “Exploring the Impact of Solitary Confinement on Recidivism and Social Outcomes.” In the pursuit of truth and enlightenment, I aim to unravel the intricate dynamics surrounding solitary confinement within correctional facilities.
Solitary confinement, a contentious issue within the realm of criminal justice, merits meticulous examination. Through rigorous research and analysis, I endeavor to shed light on its implications for recidivism rates and broader social outcomes.
