During my experience over the summer I was able to learn more about student activism and grow as a person. I also learned more about myself and my interests. I learned a lot more about leadership as a whole and the necessary attributes needed to be a good leader. As a self-driven student, leading is something that comes naturally to me and my interests in being a student activist leader certainly has grown since the beginning of the spring.
By being more interested in student activism, I can relate this to my capstone project by providing an additional perspective (my own) into the qualifications, necessities, and what I’ve learned in order to be a good student leader. For fall plans, I plan on continuing being a student activist leader through Student PIRG at FSU by running the Homelessness Campaign.
