My Routine as a Student Activist Leader with PIRG

As I am working as an intern with Student PIRGs as a Civic Engagement Fellow and Campaign Coordinator for the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, my routine is as follows:

  • 8am: Wake up and get ready for the day
  • 8:15am: Make and eat breakfast to be well fueled
  • 9-10:30am: Complete class work assignments for my summer class at FSU
  • 10:30-12pm: Planning period for my RAWA campaign meetings and other campaign action work for PIRGs
  • 12-1pm: Make and eat lunch
  • 1-5pm: Work for Student PIRGs. This includes more planning time if needed, team meetings, impromptu meetings, leading campaign meetings, scheduled events, or political outreach
  • 5-6pm: Make and eat dinner
  • 6-8pm: Workout at gym
  • 8-9pm: Shower and get ready for bed
  • 9-10pm: Watch a movie/show
  • 11pm: Go to bed

Pictured:  Some of my campaign events include going out into nature to show elected officials the importance of the environment and protecting endangered species (see above) I also included a picture of me cooking dinner (see below).
