It’s nice to fill up space when working for a non-governmental organization, the change that is being made is impactful. At the moment, I go back and forth between working in a building named TigMAIA and the Connect Institute building. TigMAIA was created to rent out and aid in funding Connect. They’re two villas at the top of a mountain right next to each other overseeing the beach and city. It’s a beautiful view with balconies in each room, three floors, a pool, and a garden. It was nice to be put in a space like this because I’m working constantly all-day. By the time I get off work, it’s too late for me to go out on my own. I have left to go to other places using a car application to get around similar to Uber, I’ve even traveled on my own in another city already. Everywhere that I’ve been to or have been around has been absolutely stunning. I go to the grocery store typically with the other people that work in Connect, I’ve gone plenty of times to the souk, the Arabic word for market. Compared to the environment I’m in while in Tallahassee, it’s really a high standard of living. I have a private chef and private maid which is something I’m not used to, while in Morocco. The currency is 10 dirhams to 1 USD which is pretty good if you’re using USD abroad. I did enjoy the space I was in and all the spaces I got to occupy but living in a villa is really what made or could break my trip because of all the other circumstances I was enduring. I’ve been a bit tired so having a nice sleep is essential.
