Solidarity in Emergency Medicine.

In Emergency Medical Services, I think solidarity is strongly synonymous with consistent teamwork. Without adequate and clear communication within a crew, it is difficult to uphold a standard of care with patients. The significance of this unity has become clear to me during our practice scenarios in EMT school. While one student leads the call, it is vital that all team members understand their roles and work together to create a seamless patient assessment process. Otherwise, important details are missed and crucial care is delayed or inadequate.
