Accomplishing Wants

I want to make my first documentary. This interests me because I have explore different types of filmmaking but documentary was one I always avoided because I thought I was bad in, however I want to give it a chance and risk filming my first documentary. This is both personal and for the project becuase it is something I want to work on but it also helps to document my experience. I want to try to learn a new language, this random but this summer experience I hope I can try to get started in learning a new language. This deals with the concept of community and learning how efficiently connect with the community you want to know more of. Although this is more personal, it can help me teach skills that would be useful for my project. The last thing I want to try is conduct my first interview. This interest me because I love getting creative with questions that I would have to ask. This is more for my project but it would benefit me personally because that is something I always wanted to do.

One skill I will work on during this summer experience is endurance. This is important because sometimes I feel like i’m doing too much and want to relax or I just get lazy and don’t want to do any work at all. Having an endurance mindset helps to always keep improving and working on something new. This will be important for me years from now as it will teach me to gain a great work ethnic. Another skill I need to improve is communication. Communication is important to improve for both your personal and professional life. Learning to communicate effectively can open many possibilities in life. I see myself relying on communication years from now as the career that I work in the future requires knowing how to effectively communicate.

This means a lot to me because with everything I do I might encounter hardships but it is not about the hardships themselves but knowing how to overcome these hardships.
