I feel like I have found my community! When I walk into the lunchroom every day, so many people come up to greet me and tell me how happy they are to see me. The environment embraces mistakes and celebrates them. It also celebrates asking for help. It is easy to get stuck in a rut of not asking for help, but here at camp help is always offered. In between camp sessions on what we call “intersessions” I always have friends to hang out with – whether that be watching a movie at camp or going and getting coffee downtown. Not many people at camp are from Eustis (which is my hometown) so I always have someone to talk to about fun and exciting things to try around here! I love working at camp and enjoying the environment cultivated there.
Camp Boggy Fun!
