My name is Kaylee Vasquez, a first year interdisciplinary Social Sciences major here at Florida State! I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic but moved to Miami, FL a year and nine months ago!
My interest for sociology, immigration, and human rights has drove me to pursue an internship in Human Rights & NGO Support in Rabat, Morocco! This summer I will be working with a non-profit organization that overseas different tasks, such as supporting immigrants, asylum seekers, and other minority communities in Morocco. As an aspiring Public Administrator, I hope this experiences marks the beginning of my professional career!
I am anxious of the idea of traveling by myself to a whole different continent. However, thanks to the Global Scholars Program, I feel prepared to go on this great summer adventure!
