Hi everyone,
As my first blog post I will briefly introduce myself and what I am doing this summer. I am Bianca, a double major in Criminology and Psychology with a minor statistic. I am from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and I will be interning in Peru as a social work intern for at-risk youth. I aim to be a clinical psychologist and provide so this will give me experience working with different youth under the supervision of clinicians.
My expectation for this experience is to engage with the children and learn about the different challenges they experience. I am not sure if I will be helping with cooking, but I would like to know beforehand to create Caribbean dishes for the kids.
