The Map of my Spaces

For my map, we start at the Center for Leadership and Service. PeaceJam Southeast operates out of this department at Florida State so I spent a lot of my time here. When not working on PeaceJam, I would assist and participate in different events and activities that the Center would put on. I also spent a lot of time tabling on Florida State’s campus for PeaceJam and the Center. This allowed me to engage with different parts of the Florida State community. The next space on my map is Pop-Up Preschool. With Pop-Up Preschool, I entered new spaces in the Tallahassee community and was able to bring educational opportunities to the children within these communities. The final space on my map are the different organizations I served while working with PeaceJam. Besides FSU, I had not interacted with these spaces before. After my experience, I now have an expanded view on the communities within Tallahassee and the people who work to serve them.
