Week 6

This was my second to last week of TEFL classes. It’s honestly bittersweet. This weeks reflection question made me realize how much this experience has broadened perspective. I have learned so much from fellow students in the TEFL program and from the CIES students we have been tutoring. The more I’ve become involved with CIES, the more I have realized just how much language fluency can impact quality of life. These students have improved so much in the little time I’ve known them and it’s been such a privilege to observe that. When considering what the spaces I occupy look like, they are definitely much broader and diverse than prior to this experience. I am so grateful I’ve had the opportunity to participate.
