As the summer semester is nearing an end and finals week is coming up, my summer has been the same with the spaces that I am in and what I do. I am someone who is big on organization and having a routine. With that, my weekly schedule looks the same and the places I go are the same.
As time has gone on, I have become more comfortable in these places and more outgoing. I have started to become more comfortable with my research mentors and the tasks that I am given. Meanwhile, at Second Harvest, I am becoming a common face that comes in and volunteers, being able to help new volunteers with the different things that we do!
When I am not at these places, I am always on campus at FSU, whether I am studying for my difficult classes or actually attending class. As summer comes to an end, with the fall semester coming up, these same places are going to still be in my life. This summer was the time to get comfortable and settled into these new places, to where I plan on being at Second Harvest and TNC until I graduate!
