My environment culturally is global, I’m surrounded by volunteers from all over the world like China, India, France, United Kingdom, England, and so many other places. My time here so far has been shocking with their political views and learning they don’t pay health insurance in some places, advantages from work, or even a difference in their grocery stores. They look at America or Americans as jokes though (no seriously) but I do agree that the USA has been set up to look like clowns compared to everywhere else. I do feel like I joined a community, my work family is so loving and they even got me to try a “snack” and call me new nicknames with their funny jokes. I met a guy who is so nice and who’s been showing me the real local parts of Ghana. My lawyer is shocked that I’m not Ghanian and asked me to turn around to confirm that I’m not because of my curves lol. Everybody just has a sense of family spirit here. What I dislike is when one of the sellers try to overprice me an item just because I’m a foreigner or when I’m with “Obronny” (white) people.
