As I have begun my Global Scholars experience with the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentorship program and my additional experience volunteering with the Math Thinking and Learning Lab at FSU, while it took some adjusting I’m happy to say the transition has been easy. I am able to do these opportunities in the same town I go to University, which has made adjusting easier. Fitting work into my schedule is easier because I am not taking that many summer classes. Happy to see how this experience continues!
